Hands of a Working Man

This series of photos was photographed on a 4x5 large format camera. I developed all the film myself by hand. The aim of the photos is to portray the hands of a working man, as well as understanding a sense of character and who they might be. Another thing to note is that the way the hands are positioned are not staged. I just photographed how they naturally oriented their hands after a long day of work or during a break between their work.
